General Questions about the Shoulder

When should I be examined for shoulder pain?

If the pain persists for more than a few weeks, restricts movement, or affects sleep and daily activities, a specialist orthopaedic evaluation is recommended.

Can a rotator cuff tear be treated without surgery?

In some cases, yes. The treatment depends on the size of the tear, the patient's age, activity level, and symptoms.

What are the advantages of shoulder arthroscopy?

Arthroscopy allows the treatment of many conditions through small incisions, offering less postoperative pain, faster rehabilitation, and quicker return to activities.
